Clarifying complex issues
A jumble of terms such as “attachment”, “third party”, “the fixative effect of bankruptcy” and “conditions for access to debt restructuring”. This was the challenge that students at The Hague University faced while studying Corporate Law. Together with the University of Applied Sciences, we have developed a visual toolkit to untangle this legal knot: unique visual teaching material.
Our mission was simple but ambitious: Transforming dry legal texts into a vibrant, visual and interactive learning experience.
Testing by students and teachers
The visuals were developed in collaboration with teachers at The Hague University, so that the content seamlessly matched the curriculum. Students and teachers tested the visuals, after which adjustments were made to improve usability and content.
Successful result
The result was a success. Students said that the visual elements helped them better understand the material and that they enjoyed using the visuals during their studies. The visuals are available to all law students at The Hague University.
